First post~ A little about me & My adventures in the garden
Hello and welcome to my blog. I'm addicted to YARN!!! There I said it~ I have been Crocheting for over thirty years. (YIKES) I have just stared designing my own patterns (which is making my addiction worse)
I would like to share my Hooking adventures with you~ When I wasn't Crocheting this Summer
I was tending to my Garden. I had an all out war with SLUGS (I hate them) Seems the slithery slimmers have a penchant for BEER....Who knew.
I set up kegger parties in the garden nightly to get rid of the pesky slime balls. It worked.
What you do is~ Fill up empty Yogurt containers with beer
(It doesn't matter what kind, All slugs are BOOZERS) Dig a small hole in the garden to put them in and
wait for the party to begin. Oh and do this at dusk, the slimy slugs only drink after 5pm. Hope this helps everyone next planting season.
Hope you enjoy the
pics!
